So the question is.how do I get the Melodyne to run thru a SAW channel? Not sure what it's called for your Raydat.) Less of a work-around. (It should be in the drop down box for Audio Device in Melodyine's Perferences/Audio tab. I'd think your Raydat has real ASIO drivers, so I'd select that audio device first. Well, I don't really know much about ASIO4All, except that I thought it was something people use who need but don't have actual ASIO drivers. I have relied on the advice and information give out by my fellow forum members.ĭave.I would very much appreciate if you could fill me in on how to configure this application, and what driver to use.but also what are the negative's to using Asio4All compared to another so I know in the future. SAC/SAW has been an interesting learning curve. I am a primarily a live audio guy, and do not have an extensive background in computer hardware, drivers soundcards etc. Really.I couldn't tell you the benefit of it over another driver cause it appeared on the drop down list in the Melodyne app and I happen to have it downloaded! It also worked.sort of.:o. I'm already using the AES and Spdif inputs on the Raydat card for other things.)ĭave.the answer is. (I wasn't trying to get into SAW directly thru the Melodyne would be easier if possible. So.can anyone recommend a different configuration or a different driver to provide more stability? I don't believe I can share the Asio driver with the Raydat as it is not Multi client.is that correct?Īlso.I'm outputing the Melodyne application thru the Audio out port of my SAC/SAW host computer, and then back in thru a stereo pair on the ADA8K interface and into SAW. I've gone in and configured the Asio4All to what seems to work,as the driver has a little configuration box to modify certain parameter / latency In/Out settings and I'm not confident I've set it up right. I get all sorts of wierdness happening to the audio. Everything seems to work OK as long as I open up SAWStudio first, then the Melodyne application. I'm using the Melodyne in a stand alone application and using Asio4All. I'm using my Raydat with the Asio Driver setup for SAW. However.having a little problem with the Drivers and my Raydat. All I can say is Wow! I'm using it on a current track with a vocalist who has a rough sort of Leonard Cohen type voice.a little pitchy but sincere. Purchased the Melodyne Assistant last week.
